I came across several corporate slogans that over the years became part of our psyches and ways of doing business. Some of them were quite good others functioned well. You may even think of some good ones as this list is not the list to end all lists...just to get the juices started and of course to see how effective marketing can be

Here we go then...

PEOPLE FIRST THEN BUSINESS...my (Literally) personal favorite..I'm sorry, but it is and it works very well
It's the real thing"...coke singing to us while we drank this sugar water to the tune of billions
All the news that's fit to print New York Times sends a message to its competition every where and it worked
Is it live, or is it Memorex?...vdieo/cassette taping so real that you have to ask...is it?
Just do it"..Nike sold millions of shoes with this slogan and we did it
It takes a licking and keeps on ticking...Timex doing the commercials of brutalizing a watch and it survives
Lifts and separates" Playtex speaking on your private parts without offending anyone..well done
When E. F. Hutton Talks, People Listen... the whole busy noisy room goes silent...When E F clears his throat
Betcha can't eat just one" lays potato chips had us all and kept us all trying to eat just one...no way
Wheres the beef? Wendy's restaurants commenting on the skinny patties found elsewhere...
Does She or Doesn't She? ...Only her Hairdresser Knows for Sure" Clairol hair dye....had us wondering
R-O-L-A-I-D-S spells Relief" and the Rolaids company rules on acid indigestion and solutions for same
"You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent"..worked as long as it worked
The happiest place on Earth Disneyland rules and owns this statement...forever..done and end of story
Be all you can be. U.S. Army..problem is you got to give up yourself to be all you can be...

There too many to list, but these will get your juices flowing....BTW what is your tag line...

Richie, I do like people first then business. Two that come to my mind are:

I can't believe I ate the whole thing - I believe it was Rolaids as well.

Quality goes in before the name goes on. I think that was Delta Airlines.

Kathleen...Two good ones. who hasn't eaten the whole thing at one point or another. the "quality" statement was from Zenith not Delta, but you are a player none the less....and of course, people first is just is so agreeable a statement. Thanks for sharing

Hey - I checked back to see what others are using for their own business slogans like I did. Everyone is telling their favorites that other businesses use, which is also fun. I know the fact that my slogan is on my blog and other on line presences, as well as on flyers, etc, has been noticed and commented on by clients. It's all part of branding ourselves.
