December 2017 home sales in Matthews, North Carolina (28105 zip code) saw home sale prices substantially increasing, pending and closed sales also increasing.
The average sale price of Matthews homes increased by 10.6% to just over $290,000 as compared with the same period one year ago.
Average days on market for property listings were up by 2 days to 33 days. Median days on market were flat at 9 days in December 2017. Holiday seasonality more than likely played some role here, but at 33 days on market, Matthews homes were selling day more quickly than the Charlotte metro market as a whole.

The median percent of original list price that sellers received for their homes was up 0.1% compared with last year at 98.5%, showing little negotiating room for homes in Matthews, North Carolina.
New listings increased by 5.7% versus December 2016. Matthew area's months supply of homes increased 9.1% to 2.4 months, but still keeping Matthews very much a seller's market.
It continues to be a true seller's market in the 28105 zip code and a very competitive environment for home buyers in Matthews, North Carolina.
