"If You Want To Increase Your Success Rate, DOUBLE Your Failure Rate" a Thomas J. Watson Quote by Silicon Valley REALTOR Michelle Carr Crowe
If you think of yourself as successful, I would guess that you're picturing a version of you that lives in a dream house of your design with little to no financial stresses and surrounded by your loved ones who are all enjoying life together. I can guess that because that's what I think of, along with getting to travel where ever I want, whenever.
That "successful" version of you is a goal, and what keeps you working hard today in the hopes of achieving that tomorrow. It is good to have a clear vision in mind for what you want! But what happens when you're faced with failure in your efforts to success? For me, it can feel like my clear vision gets a little muddled because my failure keeps me from achieving my "successful" self.
In reality though, I'm now a bigger step closer to it! Failure is such a scary word, and it leaves a sour taste in our mouths when it happens. But without it, we would never really know when we have truly reached a point of personal gain or taken the right step in our careers! We must accept our failures, brush the dust off, and keep on moving forward so that we can one day attain the version of ourselves. Or, hopefully, and even better version!
