Facebook Fridays - 5 Tasks To Increase Your Clientele

~ Facebook Marketing Tips ~

Sometimes it feels like there are not enough hours in the day for all the activities we need, want, or should accomplish. Know what I mean? When I have days like that I have to double down and commit to doing social media tasks. Sometimes I do them begrudgingly, but I try to make the effort each and every day. I know many of you also struggle with this.

Here are a few simple tips to help ensure you give SM the attention it warrants to drive new traffic and future clients your way...

  • Get Up/Stay Up 20 Minutes Earlier/Later - Use that time to concentrate 100% on social media. You will be surprised how much you can get done in a short amount of uninterrupted and dedicated time.
  • Be Purposeful - Make good use of lull time and create time/task blocks that are manageable and you can prep for (i.e. creating images on a Sunday afternoon for a FB post you plan to go live on Tuesday).
  • Get Organized - How much time do you waste looking for something or being distracted when starting a new or restarting an existing task? I know I waste some each day and I would consider myself fairly organized. The better we are with time management, the more we can accomplish, often in a lot less time.
  • Keep Things Simple - When in doubt, go with the most straight forward solution. Social media marketing does not need to be difficult or even time consuming but many of us are masters at creating unnecessary roadblocks. Go simple and see your results improve! 
  • Hire a VA - Yes, this is the 3rd time I have mentioned virtual assistants this year. The right VA can be an incredible asset to your social media marketing. They will perform a multitude of tasks you do not have the time for or the know-how to implement/keep running.

Anita, I am not a fan of getting up early but, I do it every day because that quiet time in the morning is my most productive. It really does make a big difference. Great advice to make images ahead of time, that is key to keeping the content flowing.

Have a plan but when something changes, think quickly on your feet to shift gears and no lose momentum. More important than time management and always hearing a clock ticking in the back ground is seeing red flags. Is what you are putting your heart and soul in really a worthwhile return on your ROI? Thanks for the suggestions...finding the time sometimes for social media IS a real struggle some days. What's interesting is that when I AM on I AM able to limit my time...I just need to focus it a bit more and be planful!

Jeff: It can be a real struggle.

All: If you are struggling to find the time, but are spending hours a day on AR, shave off a few minutes of your AR time for social media activities. Getting clients is much more important than getting points. Just saying. ;-)
