Fun Friday...Friday the 13th

 

Are you superstitious?  (knock wood) If you are, take comfort in the fact that the next Friday the 13th will not occur until August 13, 2021. 

 

You can learn more about this date but I know you’re not superstitious, are you?  I mean you don’t have to use a certain pen when you sign contracts or important papers, do you? Black cats crossing your path won't cause you concern? Will it???

Just because you don’t want to handle mirrors for fear of breaking them doesn’t mean you’re superstitious, does it??  Of course, it doesn’t. It was more practical for me to have someone else hang mirrors when I was staging.

Bite my tongue, I trust that Friday the 13th will go smoothly for you...no ladders to avoid or sidewalk cracks to step over. 

 

What about you?  Any superstitions???

I forgot it was Friday the 13th. Not superstitious, but I don't walk under ladders. Lol. Our neighbors cat is black, he does a great job mousing the fields around here. I'm guessing we'll cross paths with little Bronco today. :)

Hi Sham Reddy CRS I don't believe in them but I think that many follow certain rituals out of habit. 

Nina Hollander I'll tell Larry to bite his tongue when he says certain things but it's more out of habit.

Wayne Martin I don't know of anyone who's really superstitious but I know people who wont' open an umbrella in the house. 

Brian England I remember wearing the same t-shirt when my team was winning but that's silly, isn't it.

Roy Kelley we actually have a stray black and white cat who hangs around the street but haven't seen him. 

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD haven't seen the neighborhood black and white cat today. KNock wood!

My dad was very superstitious about Friday the 13th.  We never understood why, and then on one of them, my dad was hit broadside in an intersection, by a driver who had ran a red light.  Dad was OK, but our car. . .Not so much!

Kathy I would consider myself as somewhat superstitious, because I am not superstitious about most things, but I do try to avoid the number 13.
