Be an Angel Day is August 22! What Will You Do to Be One?
Just a heads up that tomorrow (August 22) is Be An Angel Day. Reverand Jayne Howard Feldman started the celebration of this day to encourage others to incorporate random acts of kindness into their daily lives.
If you’re like me the phrase Thank you...you’re an angel has been said many times to many people who have performed some act of kindness towards me or others.
Maybe we take these acts for granted or perhaps some have come to expect them, however, there is nothing better for feeding the soul than to do something thoughtful for someone else with no expectation for a reward or acknowledgment.
How you can be a part of Be an Angel Day…
~Offer to buy someone’s meal or coffee
~Call a friend or relative to see how they’re doing or just to say Hello!
~Hold the door open for someone, doesn’t matter if they’re older or younger, male or female.
~Bring in your neighbor’s garbage cans
~Share a smile with someone who needs it
~Buy an extra cookie or two and share them with a friend.
The list could go on and on, couldn’t it?
