Friday Funny, What a Week. All I can say is TGIF!!! - 09/30/11 05:46 PM
Friday Funny, What a Week it's been. All I can say is TGIF!!!
It's not that it was a terrible week but I can truly say I'm glad it's over! It's been a week of crazy scheduling, canceled appointments, moved appointments and a few disappointments!
But I've had worse! :) So I thought I'd end the week with something from Maxine.
She takes something that irritates us all and makes it funny.

If only it was true! LOL
Have a great weekend everyone!

Does your Listing Presentation need Sharpening? - 09/29/11 04:39 PM
Does your Listing Presentation need Sharpening?
There was a time when you could show up at a Seller's home without a "toolbox". You talked a little about yourself, your company, your marketing and then reviewed the CMA together. Sellers expect much more from you now.
If you don't have a GOOD Listing Presentation, you could be missing out on many good listings. What are the things you need?

1. Your presentation should always have an Agenda. It doesn't have to be written down, but it needs to be a specific order so that you don't miss important … (60 comments)

A Quiet Day at Home! - 09/25/11 03:18 PM
A Quiet Day at Home!
Many of you know that I bought a home last summer and spent the fall fixing it up. I blogged about Christmas here and about finally moving in February.
I don't talk a lot about by house, but I love it. It's still a work in progress.
Friday I got the email I've been waiting for. My new Ottoman was in. I had lots to do on Friday, but I raced over to the decorator's anyway. I wanted to have it to enjoy this weekend. Kind of a Birthday present to ME. :)

My Uncle John even send me a card through Plaxo!

Are all the rooms well lit? Open the Draperies and shades to let the most amount of light into the room. A well lit room will look larger. If you won't be home before dark, leave the porch lighting on.

Why do I Need a Buyer's Agent? - 09/13/11 04:42 PM
Why do I Need a Buyer's Agent?
When an Agent is working directly for the Buyer, they have a Fiduciary Duty of Loyalty to the Buyer. What that means is the Buyer's Agent puts the Buyer's best interests above all others.
That could mean helping the Buyer get the most favorable sales price or terms of the contract. The Terms in the Contract can be the Closing Date, the Possession Date, Repairs, Personal Property left with the Home or even help with Financing.
