I had a listing appointment on Sunday morning. I met with a nice young couple who lived in one of my farm areas, Carrolwood, a townhome community in Naperville. They are hoping to buy a bigger home... The appointment went great. As we spoke, the sellers told me how they had called other agents, but they never received return calls... I wasn't surprised. I hear this a lot. I find that so strange... The wife was impressed that I returned her call within an "hour or so." I was disappointed. I expect more of myself... I try to answer most of my calls. It was music to my ears. Probably the goal of anyone using blogging to enhance their online presence. And I have heard it 3 times in the last week. Pretty incredible for me. I have always had my website. Static. A necessity for a Realtor, for sure. But not interactive at all. It never really answered the question, "Who is Ken Tracy?" That's where my blog came in. I committed myself to active participation on the real estate network Active Rain back in February of this year. Good morning. 9:15 AM. Paper read. Coffee drank. Life good. Erin, Nicole and I are getting ready to go to the YMCA for my nearly daily abuse that I put myself through. It's been a busy last 24 hours. I had a listing appointment last night. I will be putting a nice condo/townhome on the market on Monday. They have another condo/townhome we will be putting on the market soon. Yesterday, I wrote how it was a great day to buy a house here in Naperville, Illinois. It was cool by late March standards, but sunny with no wind. I don't think temperature matters too much, but I feel the sun really buts people in a real estate mood. And I had a good real estate day yesteday but... Today I really blogged most of the day away.
