I recently purchased a Nikon D7000 whcich allows the abiltiy to take full motion videos.  I wanted to add video to my marketing of homes that I list.  The reasons for offering video are two fold: First to offer another oppurtuntiy to my sellers to market their home and secondly I think videos on your tube offer a great seo opportuntity.
This is my second run at full motion video.  The equiprment I used was:

I am a big proponent of quality photography for real estate.  Almost 90% of all buyer use the internet to find the home they are going to purchase.  You need to compel a home buyer to pick up the phone to call for a personal showing there is no better way than to create great images of a home.

This Saturday I had scheduled 8 properties for a buyer who called into the office.  I have never met them or talked with them before.  My policy is usually go on showings once and than get a contract signed with the buyer before showing additional properties.  I confirmed the appointment by email and by phone with this buyer... Saturday morning comes and no buyer!!
I called and she said it was a misunderstanding we were suppossed to meet at 12 noon and not 10am.  Please schedule again for noon and what about the showing for tommorow????  Come to find out she … (4 comments)

Sometimes when you look thrpough the MLS you have to wonder what was the real estate agents thinking whan they snapped that photo!!
and what was the seller thinking allowing them to post those photos??!!
I have posted this video before but I like to remind myself and others how important good real estate photography is in today's marketing of real estate.  Buyers are making decision based on photographs they see on the web... give that home a fighting chance.

FREE IMAGE MANIPULATION RETOUCHING PROGRAM
I have had this freeware program GIMP for awhile.  I finally started playing with it, and found it to be a great tool for image manipulation.   For my needs, it has everything that Adobe Photoshop Elements has for image manipulation.... transform, dodge/burn, color exposure adjustments, layering and more...!!! 
It is not quite as easy or intuitive to use as Adobe Photoshop Elements and seems to be slower, but if you have an a desire to buy Adobe Elements but didnt want to spend the money try this program.... you'll love it, and its a great way … (1 comments)
