I have been keeping track of some really interesting photos of Van Buren Arkansas that are taken by a local photographer who is also a music teacher for the Van Buren School District. I wanted to highlite some of his work and let ohters know about him. His name is J. Andrew Lockhart. He keeps a daily journal of his work in pictures on his blog, http://vanburendailyphoto.blogspot.com/ This is a picture he took of the hail that I blogged about this past month. Incredible hail did a ton of damage.

arkansas: Real Estate Commission deems me worthy!!!

So I got the approval from the Arkansas Real Estate Commission to sit for my Real Estate Exam! All I have to do now is pay the $75 to take the test and pass and I will have my license and can launch my career into the wonderful world of Real Estate! I am so excited! Now I have to study up really hard this week so I can pass the test! Stay tuned for the "I PASSED" post! Wish me success! Susan
This is the size of the hail that pelted us last night : The night passed pretty much uneventful after we finally got to sleep about 2:30 am. Had some more storms roll through around 5:30 and when we got up at 7:00 am to get my granddaughter up for school, we found out that all the schools in the area are closed, there is major flooding in 2 counties. After reading Jason Crouch`s blog about the date night with his wife to the Art museum, I was inspired to share this moving and inspiring Angel Art by Tina Willis and Rick Hall.
I met Rick and Tina at the War Eagle Craft Show a couple of years ago, and wept when I saw their artwork. It is so moving. One down 8 to go! I made it up another notch from 10th to #9 ranking in the state of Arkansas!

We had to skip last night because they cancelled class due to inclement weather so we will have to make that time up over the weekend... that will make for a very long weekend... 8-8 both days! :-( Tonight was a breeze for me though because we studied The Principles of Financing! This is a new topic I am going to start implementing into my blogs. I will feature new and unique businesses in and around Fort Smith, Van Buren, Barling, Greenwood, Alma and surrounding areas.
