If anyone can enlighten me on sitemeter's instructions, I would appreciate it. I followed their Active Rain suggestions, but this is what I got - it just doesn't look right. Here is a simple explanation of why it makes sense for some folks to buy vs. rent. If you are going to stay in your home for more than a couple of years, then you may want to consider buying instead of helping pay for your landlord's house.
If you are a First Time Homebuyer or Move Up Homebuyer, the Tax Credit of $8,000 and $6,500 may just make tilt the scales enough in favor of buying to get you off the fence and into your new home!

Better late to the party than not at all! I just read Bob's post on the SHIFT contest (yesterday) and wanted to add my contribution.
SHIFT has been sitting on my bookshelf for some months while we have been busy with real estate. I learn so much here on Active Rain that there is little time to read books anymore.

For the brave souls who didn't let a little rain and chill keep them away, the Parade of Trees that heralds in Christmas on Walnut Street was a delightful event. The 40th Annual Christmas on Walnut Street in Green Cove Springs FL was rescheduled from Dec. 4-5 to Dec. 11-12 due to rainy cold weather. Guess what? The rain and chilly weather came back! Friday night wasn't too bad. It was a little misty and chilly, but with a warm jacket, the evening was invigorating.

It's that time again! Christmas on Walnut and the Parade of Trees are this weekend, December 11 & 12, 2009. It was rescheduled after last week's rain.
The Parade of Trees starts at 7 PM Friday Evening December 11, when Green Cove Springs behind City Hall lights up to usher in the Christmas Season.
Christmas on Walnut Street is Saturday, December 12. The Christmas Parade will be in the afternoon. There will be food and craft vendors in abundance, so plan to eat well and do some Christmas shopping! Walnut Street will be closed to vehicular traffic.
