Light Up Brookhaven 2016 will take place on December 8, 2016 from 6-8pm at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road, in Brookhaven. This FREE event features special musical performances, visits with Santa (parents welcome to take pics), holiday crafts, Toys for Tots collection box, hot chocolate sale, refreshments and Christmas tree and Hanukah display lighting.
Don’t miss out on the Light Up Brookhaven 2016 Holiday Wreath Contest. Participants are to acquire wreath and all supplies on their own and drop off completed wreathes at the Briarwood Community Center between December 1st and 3rd. Contest is free and open to all citizens.

The 2nd annual burger competition moves to Brookhaven Park in 2016. The 2nd Annual Bud-n-Burgers Festival will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in Brookhaven Park. The park is located at 4158 Peachtree Road in Brookhaven.

The 2016 Brookhaven Bolt 5K will be held on Saturday May 21, 2016 starting at 8am. Walkers and strollers are welcome! Runners will begin at 8:00am, while walkers and strollers will start at 8:05am. The race course is USATF Certified and has been called challenging but fair by previous runners. The race has become one of the largest in the area and an annual family event to be enjoyed by everyone. Bring your families out and stick around to enjoy the festival taking place after the race or cheer on the runners as they race through the tree-lined streets.
