Nerdin Gardens: The sunshiney smile of a heart-shaped face.
The Holleyhocks are almost finished with their yearly show and what a spectacular display they set for several weeks. The Calla Lilies across the lawn, now draw attention to my eye, stepping out to survey the back yard garden.
This one in particular drew me to look upon it's colorful disposition, hence the quote. Happy Saturday all from here to there!

In an attempt to visually inspire others, I continue to come across photos that were taken several years ago. I previewed a home in Washington Fields, a suburb of Washington City for some potential buyers. Leaving for the office, I noticed a man exercising a bevy of doves.
Time and again, they would soar high into the sky effortlessly, turn sharply and land, then repeat. They were mesmerizing and I was lucky to get this shot of them against the mountain range, partly sunny / cloudy. This quote came to mind as they continued their … (8 comments)

A Deer, A Doe...
The forest borders where my son and daughter-in-law live in Oak Harbor, Washington. Imagine my surprise, shortly after bringing Kenslee Mae home from the hospital, when this mother and daughter duo stepped outside the perimeter of heavy cover to create a photo opp.
A beautiful sight that left me smiling. Nature often does that!
