exam: 2014 Real Estate Appraiser State Exam Pass Rate

The number of people who took the Florida State Certified Appraiser Exam in 2014 was only 37. Out of this, 23 students passed the first time taking the exam. Although the amount of people who take the Certified Residental Appraiser exam is not very high, the passing rate is 62%, which is not bad.
As expected, the second go around for students taking the state exam is much lower, coming in at only 34% for 2014. This drops the overall yearly passing rate for both first time and second time test takers down to 47%.

The 2014 Florida State Exam Summary Report for the Florida Real Estate Brokers Exam shows that out of 2,2151 graded exams, 1,225 passed and 960 failed on their first attempt at taking the exam.
This report is showing the passing rate for first time test takers at 57% for 2014. Out of 2,106 students taking the test for the second time, only 38% passed. The percentage of students who took the test the second time declined to 19%.

The December 2014 Florida State Exam Summary Report for first time test takers shows that out of 27,661 graded exams, 13,957 passed and 13,704 failed.
The passing rate has increased dramatically from when we frist started teaching. Back in 2009 when we started out, the first time passing rate was only 28%. After we started teaching, it immediately hiked up to the 40% range and has maintained this increase and higher. This December report is showing 50% and I hope to see it go up even higher.

License Examinations
When the application is complete and approved, the DBPR notifies the national testing vendor. The vendor sends a notice of eligibility to take the state license exam.
After your approval, schedule your test with Pearson VUE.
At the testing center, you must present;
Your course completion certificate.
2 forms of signature identification, one must be a photo ID.
Your confirmation number or authorization notice that Pearson VUE mailed you.
The State Exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions. Students

Florida has entered into a mutual recognition agreement with eight of the following states, Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
Qualified residents from these states may get a Florida real estate license by passing a forty (40) question examination. The exam tests knowledge of Florida real estate license law, statutes and administrative rules. The exam is the same for sales associates or brokers.
There are no requirements that an applicant must attend a course for this exam, but we do suggest the following methods of preparation.

You MUST bring the Rowlett Real Estate School completion certificate for the required course to the exam center NOT the "wall certificate". A copy of the completion certificate is accepted. You MUST bring two forms of valid non expiredidentification with you to your appointment. One must be a photo bearing government issued identification. Signatures are required to be on both forms of Identification.
If you do not have the required items with you, you will be considered absent and will be denied access to the examination room. You will forfeit the full examination fee.

I must say i had a very successful week this week. Today was the last day of our Pre Sales Associate class in Destin Florida and all my students passes their end of course exam. I had a really great class this go around in Destin. I didn't have any yappers so we sailed through the course and actually stayed ahead of schedule. This was great because it allowed me to spend more time on the math for those who needed it.
