For one day only, on Wednesday, April 22 at 7:30 P.M., the L. Frank Baum children's classic comes to life at the Classic Center in Athens, GA. This is the last production in the 2008-2009 Broadway Series.

12 local students from the Oconee Youth School of Performance will be featured as "munchkins".

Tickets are available now. For more information on ticket availability for The Wizard of Oz or other events you can call the classic center at 800-864-4160 or you can go to the Classic Center website.

Randi - this is the road cast of the Broadway production. They often use local actors in the minor roads.

Steve - it's not a school play

Paddy - the Classic Center hosts some very good entertainment. It used to be the home stage for Blue Collar Comedy.
