I mentioned it last week...

Garner Creek at Parkview hosted a workshop on Blogging, ActiveRain and Social Networking on Thursday, August 27th.  During the workshop, the main questions we covered were:

  • Why blog?
  • Why Active Rain should be your platform?
  • How to incorporate blogging and ActiveRain into a comprehensive social Media Plan?
  • In what other sites should we have a presence?

For a 60 minute presentation... that was a LOT of stuff.  As I mentioned during the class, I wanted to make sure people weren't distracted by having to take notes about everything, so I posted up the Powerpoint from the workshop on one of my websites, LaneBailey.info

If you were in attendance, I would LOVE to get your feedback on the material presented, the style and any other impressions you had about the workshop.  It would also be great to find out if you think there are areas you would like to see in more depth, either during this presentation or another, more focused, presentation.  Knowing what material could be trimmed back with be useful as well.

Finally, if you are reasonably near the Atlanta area, and would like to host a similar class on Blogging, ActiveRain and Social Networking, I would love to hear from you.  Real estate agents, mortgage brokers, new home communities and others might find the information useful, and might also find it a great event to host and offer for free in their market.
