Ars Technica reports that some system builders will offer Windows 7 computers earlier than October 22 General Availability, as early as October 13, with Microsoft blessing the early release.

That is great for folks who are eagerly waiting for the next MS operating system.

Of course, I am all for it.  I have mine, and I want a few more early adapter test pilots to run W7 through its paces.  I'm well into my third month, and enjoying it immensely.

Anything to put and end to Vista. Lets hope it lives up to the hype.

Terry,

After a couple of months with W7 Release Candidate, I am very optimistic.

Hello Mike, I have mine, W7 Ultimate, paired with an Intel Quad core, 8G RAM and running at 64 bits -- I won't ever go back to the old stuff!  When Adobe comes out with a 64 bit version of Flash, I'l be able to run the 64 bit version of IE more often as well.  Thanks!  John

John,

I can't imagine going back to either XP or IE7.  Getting video HD camcorder soon, and I think I am in great shape for working with video.
