I relocating to Cool Springs and was reading about the Williamson County School District rezoning of Ravenwood High School on http://www.coolsprings.com/  Do you think this will have a significant impact on residential real estate in Cool Springs TN?  Why are they trying to rush the rezoning through so fast?

I don't think it will have much of an impact on real estate in Cool Springs.  The re-zoning has actually been on the plate for YEARS (it's not been a rush), but we've only been hearing about it because the meeting was coming up (last night I think).  To be honest - I find the whole hullabaloo a bit odd.  Williamson County Schools has had a notice on their website for YEARS stating that re-zoning is always a possibility because of the rapid expansion of Williamson County.  It's not like no-one had a clue this might happen in ANY part of Williamson County.  Schools can only hold so many children, so if they need to do some shuffling, they need to shuffle.  IMO, if people don't want to take the chance of re-zoning in Williamson County, then private schools are a great option.
