How do you give thanks to your clients?

Each Thanksgiving, I send a special hand written note of thanks to my cilents of that current year. I think it is important to stop and simply take a moment to let them know I appreciated their loyalty and faith in me. I am proud to keep in contact with all my clients, and letting them know their business is important to me (and future referrals too of course!) is such an easy, but essential, part of my ongoing marketing efforts.

Of course, I also thank each client at the end of the real estate transaction, with another personal note, closing gift, and a contribution in their name to an animal shelter or rescue group of their choice. Even in these hard times, it is crucial more than ever to let clients/customers know that their business is appreciated.

What do you do to give thanks to your clients?

That's a great idea ( the donation). We have to show our thoughtfulness to our clients. I always try to give a personalized gift at the closing and then send holiday notes too.

We give a contribution to the Children's Miracle Network in their name. You sound like you do a great job with yours as well. Good Luck

That is a really good time to send them! I send out thank you and letters or cards but do not give "gifts" Over the years I realize my gift is my great service I just keep striving to give that each time! Thanks for the post.

You're a good person Kristin. The more I get to know about you, the more I like and respect you.

I typically give a hand written card and a gift card to Home Depot or Lowe's Home Improvement at closing.

Many of my past clients are now friends, so we just end up calling one another around the holiday times.

Craig , all I can say is Ditto buddy....wish you lived closer and we could meet. I'd bet we'd laugh all the time!

Kristin, this is really the personal touch that lets clients know that you care about them. Personal notes do make the difference!(and staying in touch)

Hello my friend-It is very important to stay in touch with clients. I do that with mailing for the realtor I work for. I have missed you my friend and to answer your question on my post. YES I am still working and might be til the 1st of the year. I love it but I do get VERY tired trying to keep up with everything. I am seriously sleep deprived. Have a great Friday. <SMILE>

Kristin - I do handwritten Thanksgiving cards, plus at least one more hand written communication each year, that is in addition to any emailings or mailings.

GOod for you Mike....do you get alot of business out of the mailers?
