You really expect me to believe that? Really?

Here is what the listing agent told me a day after I showed my Buyer his AWESOME listing.

"You and your Buyer had better hurry up and get your offer in, I have somebody else VERY INTERESTED in the property so MOVE QUICK!!"

Really? 

Seriously?

This home has been on the market for 345 days, is OVER PRICED by $20,000, has two walls caving in, is in a flood zone, and has a graveyard just beyond the back yard.

(Not the actual house)

You really expect me to believe that?  Really????

Sometimes this game just really makes me smile.  Like this.  :)

Yeah, I wrote an offer on a house this week- when I called the agent to tell him an offer was coming, but might be a day or two, he started talking about "if another offer comes in...". I don't think so. The MLS remarks said- "This one won't last"- Well, it lasted 180+ days!

I'm always careful of what information I tell the buyer's agent.  This kind of talk will make a buyer run instead of making a respectable offer.

Even better is the "Verbal" offer that's being discussed, good luck with that! I'm completely with Nick on this one.....we aren't used car salespersons and we shoudln't act like them either.
