Buster - what can I do to show my appreciation?

Buster has been a part of the family for over 10 years. He is a great loyal friend. He has always brought joy and has never been a problem. He has better manners than many people I know. Other than guarding the house he is also a great foot warmer - quite the 22 pound furry furnace. Yes- for all he does he is provided free room & board plus medical coverage and it is money well spent.

Friday afternoon he decided to take me for a walk. We walked right up to a couple looking at a couple model homes in our development. He smiled at them, they patted his head. He went home and I opened the lockboxes. Now I have a sale, the couple are buying one of the models. Buster is not licensed so there can be no referral. At 10, he is kind of old so he has no lady friend dinner reservations could be made for. So, I'll receive a nice check and all my partner that procured the sale will receive is a T-bone (without the bone), a few french fries, and butterscotch pudding.

Can I borrow Buster so he can teach my naughty dog some manners?  Congrats on the sale!

Thanks Dawn - Buster loves people, especially children, and other dogs too. Everyone that meets him wants to keep him. He is probably the most spoiled dog on Earth but one of the best behaved 99% of the time too. He loves to travel but always wants to sleep where I do. Maybe some day visits with your pup would help....

Good luck!

I can't believe you feed your wonderful dog steaks, fries, and pudding. It's bad enough for people, but that kind of processed food can be deadly to dogs and cats.

Russ - Buster did get a few small bites of steak. A few days later as a treat he was permitted to lick the tiny serving size pudding container to get a taste. Last night he went to the truck and sat by the door- so off we went for a ride and he finally received a few fries.. well a $1 size was ordered and he and I shared- about 20% to him. Dry dog food-- well it gets boring I suppose. Ok, so a few drips of gravey once in a while to add some taste. He recedives very little but it is a treat for him. He just has his 21st semi-annual check up and is in great health, including weight at 24#. Yes, he visits his doctor more than most people and the vet states his diet is just fine.
