Yesterday was a terrific day for us and many bloggers in the New York City areas for Rain Camp 2010.
Our first trip to a Rain Camp gathering in New York City hosted by none other than Brad Andersohn, Bob Stewart and Ben Kinney.
Some of the most innovative minds in our industry teaching us everything from SEO to many other great tips for very useful websites that help us all in our blogging experience in the Rain. I don't need to repost them as Sheldon has done that with his updates from the floor yesterday.
Good Job Sheldon.
I know I learned a lot and got the opportunity to meet many Active Rain Rock Stars. Below are some of the pics that I have taken... Some didn't come out but I'm working on it and will post more later in part 2 of this series.
We had the privilege to meet Jonathan Washburn almost as soon as we arrived... What a thrill for us.
Now you'll need your 3d glasses to appreciate this picture below but this was the hashtag set up for Rain Camp yesterday.
As we got up to the registration table there was Krista Caulk, soon to be Stewart, at the table greeting us. Sorry no picture here...
Then there was Brad waiting to greet us as we got in the door... This was a long time coming for us and was like meeting a long lost family member... Very Cool!
No sooner than I turn around and there's Dale Chumbley photographer extraordinaire, with his cam of course. We had never met either... Just met through Flickr mostly so another thrill for me... personally... Except it was me on the other side of the lens this time...lol
More Greetings. At the door was of course the infamous Bob Stewart. Another long time coming for us.
Bob's got a great job. He get's to hug all the women as they come in....lol
Some of our other New Jersey representatives we met there....
The HammersTeam, Bob Wolf, Dave Miller, and Sheldon Neal..... of course....
All in all it was a very good day to meet and greet all who are interested in blogging as well as learning a treasure trove of new information to help us all in the new year.
Active Rain Camp 2010, we can't thank you enough for this opportunity..
Stay tuned for part 2 of this series with more pictures coming as I get them worked out.
