Wordless Wednesday, Did your high school have a view like this?  Skyline HS

 Cascade Mountains from Skyline HS

Did your high school have a view like this?  This was taken from the parking lot at Skyline High School in Sammamish WA.  Skyline is one of 3 high schools in Sammamish and is in the Issaquah School District.  Skyline is known for outstanding academic and sports.  The Spartans are State Football champions for 2009, this is their third State Title.

It's a beautiful campus currently undergoing an addition, even though it was opened in 1997.  What I find amazing is this prime view real estate was chosen as the site for this school.  Maybe I'm just jealous.

What is funny is the HS kids probably get so tired of the "scenery" and we want to frame it!

That is beautiful, I wish my HS had that view! It is pretty flat in Norther Ca where I went. Have a great day thank you for sharing.

Hi Dan ~ Sure is a beautiful view! It reminds me of Keene NH where the view from the dump transfer station of Mount Monadnock is also beautiful.

Heck no.

At my high school we had a lovely view of the sheriff's station.

Steve, I almost get in a wreck driving on a clear day trying to take in the view, but your right, the kids probably become immune.

Casey & Associate, My HS didn't have a view either.  Thanks you have a great day too.

Liz, Sometimes it's what we see, not where we are looking from, provided we can't smell anything.  Thanks for the laugh.

I guess there are lots of places for views there so it probably wasn't choosen for the view but turned out great.

Wow...  Beautiful!  I've been there a couple of times for football games/soccer games but it always in the evening, so I didn't get to see the view!  Lucky kids!!
