Kauai bans handheld cell phones while driving

Here in California we have these laws and some even follow them.  Such a great law, scares me to death when I see people texting while driving.

First the Big Island, then Oahu now Kauai....What's this all about, safety?  I'm sure that it will result in a decrease in automobile accidents.  BTW, are hands free devices ok?

Uh oh, I suppose Maui will be next.  What about eating while driving, can I still do that?

Rich this seem to be now the norm in many places and the stats show this is a good move.

I think the roads are safer that way.  I visited my family at Christmas time.  They live in the Chicago area.  All of Cook county is hands free.

I hope they put a National ban on the darn things and I can then save the monthly bill. With all the distractions we have in our cars I am suprised people don't have more wrecks.
