Back a few years, a local Chicago band made it big with a break-out hit called "Here it goes again" where they danced enthusiastically, and acrobatically on four treadmills lined up side by side.

They glided like ice-skaters on, over and through the treadmills, making those of us who simply jogged (or walked) on them look like pedestrians ... well, in fact we were pedestrians, weren't we?

Well, they've done it again, with a new song/video that's sure to be a new viral hit with "This too Shall Pass" (one of my personal favourite axioms).  If you haven't seen it yet, please view it here... I think you'll enjoy a few minutes respite... (that is if you can manage not to view it over and over, while calling your colleagues over to view it with you).

I don't think the tune is quite as catchy as "Here it goes again".. but the video is every bit as addictive.

Enjoy

Alan, that was some wild video...I check out "Here it goes again" and did like that one better.  But, "This too shall pass" took a lot more work....

I have to gree, Rebecca, that "Here it Goes Again" was the better tune.. and the video was innovative and fun.  But this one, was quite an effort and fun to watch.

Great video had to watch it more then once of course.  I did like the dancing on the treadmill thing though.  I always just wondered how many times it took them to get it right.

Alan:  Great find. Thanks for sharing it with us.  This is just what my brain needed to turn itself off of Realtor® mode today.

I remember the first song very well, and I have heard this one but had not seen the video yet. Very cool.

Jay - I'm very familiar with that scroll... it's a MOT

Lizette - happy to oblige

Larry - I wouldn't be surprised if the treadmill took more takes that the rube goldberg one.

Chris - sometimes, we just need to "coast".

JL - I hadn't heard the song yet... but had read about it in today's paper.

Charles - somehow that doesn't surprise me... you loved the ones with the glowing tubes in 'em too, didn't ya?

Alan,

I saw this the other night. Apparently they did this in ONE take as well.

Their new video made the headline news here in San Diego recently. It was a slow news day, I guess, not that the video isn't good.

Terry - you know I can believe it's one long continuous camera shot... but I don't believe it was taken in one take.  If it were, they wouldn't already have paint all over them, before the sequence begins.

Carla - serious rube goldberg mousetrap

Russel - I agree... it's not really "news" (although it made one of the very very inside pages in the chicago tribune)

That was amazing Alan! Very creative to say the least and I loved the song. Now I'm off to view the treadmill one! Thank you for sharing! :)

Jackie - if you haven't seen the "treadmill" video... you really need to stop living in that cave.

Oh...man, I love stuff like this and that phrase is also one of my personal favourite axioms. And while I am here, have yourself a good St Paddy's Day! ;-)

Russell - one of my faves... whether it's good, or bad, or in-between... at some point you'll find yourself on the other side looking back.
