Cincinnati Reds For those of you that might be fans of the Reds I would like to update their stats for you.

They are still in first place with a record now of 49 wins and 37 losses. A full 3 games ahead of the second place Cardinals.

Some great individual stats have to start with Brandon Phillips, the Reds 2nd baseman, who is carrying a 307 average for the year. Scot Rolen, at 3rd base, isn't far behind with a 296 average. Joey Votto, 1st baseman, has knocked the ball out of the park 21 times so far this year. Bronson Arroyo leads the pitching team with 9 wins and 4 losses and we aren't at the halfway mark yet.

Well Hello Jack, I may live here in Dodger nation (California) but I LOVE the CINCINNATI REDS-Whoo Hoo. The only time I go and watch the Dodgers is when they are playing the Reds. I also love the Bengals and Lakers. Thanks for posting and I will definitely start following the stats. Just in case you were wondering I am from Ohio- Whoo Hoo Great Great Post. Thanks for sharing.

Actually I followed the Big Red Machine a couple of centuries ago. And Joe Morgan was one of my favorite players and is now one of my favorite commentators. Bench was OK too I guess...

Loved WKRP. Johnny Fever, laugh to think about it now. Remember the Big Red Machine well, Tony Perez, Morgan and Griffey in the outfield. Great team.
