Thankful Thursdays: A GRAND SLAM!

And I don't mean Denny's!

Thank goodness for the ability to catch a game, take a drive, to be free to make personal, business and life decisions.

If you ever doubt how great America is, just take a look at some other countries who are:

in constant struggle regarding war
economically & socially challenged
oppressed with limited rights and freedoms

I am thankful for being a United States citizen every day of my life not just on special occasions and holidays. My grandparents came from Bohemia in search of the American Dream, found it and lived it. I consider myself the luckiest person they chose this country to settle. And I am PROUD to be an American.

So if the world was a baseball game, America would be A GRAND SLAM!

Wanda, did you catch a few too many fish last time out and were waxing with a touch of melancholy that you didn't get caught? We have libertiesand opportunities that are even beyond the abilities of people in other nations to dream about. The Internet alone was probably the single most thing that lead to the downfall of communism in Russia. When they were able to access information online unrestricted that showed the lies that were being spread the change took over.

BTW - Denny's is sounding pretty good right about now however there aren't any in New Jersey.
