I was out doing a BPO last week and I was on a private dirt road and came around a bend and saw this field of grass with all these heads sticking up. At first I couldn't figure out what they were as they were quite a distance away. Then I realized as they began to rise and run away that it was all baby fawns. By the time I got the camera out and was able to take a shot there was only a few but it was enough for you to get the idea. When I first pulled around the bend, all I was really seeing was the tips of their ears. It really was a beautiful site to see.
