Is Google Enough? Get More Eyes On Your Site With Bing
A lot of business owners want to get more eyeballs on their site. The way to do that is go with something like BING. Sure on one hand, its not very popular but more and more people are starting to check it out lately. That is thanks to a lot of media on tv and signage.
Sitemaps of course, are important.... and apparently Bing is looking for XML in particular...

Sitemaps of course will index every one of your pages and make it easy for the search engine spiders to crawl through it. These pages will get indexed and put on the main search engine of BING ... Google has this type of system too.
I will also tell you to pay attention to additional styles of sitemaps including:
* Text
* ROR
On one hand, its overkill but on the other hand you will experience radical jumps in traffic online. This is going to make a huge difference in your competition.
The reason why I am such a stickler about this is because the real estate market is such a heavy, congested, and over populated one.
Its almost unfair but we are on one of the heaviest traffic industries on the web. I am talking about markets as big as 24,000,000..... 72 million and even 424 million.
So you need all of the leverage you can get.
I got to say this is going to be important for all aspects of real estate. Even rental properties and apartments. Relying on the MSDS to pull the weight of your sales could be slow and cumbersome.
I just took a drive through Northern Michigan this weekend. From what I can tell - realtors are looking for a definate edge.....
