This week's photos are truly funny - Enjoy!!!

The local Multiple Listing Service (MLS) I am member of allows for only 16 photos and I make sure I take the BEST photos I can to give my seller the BEST exposure for their listing... Obviously not all agents feel the same way.

You can "Always" count on a fresh scent in this bathroom.

I suspect the photo below is the cover for Steven King's new novel.

It is ok to sleep over but at least bring a change of clothes to change into before starting to take pictures.

"We like to Party - We like to Party"

But... "We like to Potty - We like to Potty"

The photos above are what agents in the South Florida market thought would sell their listings. Unfortunately the agent's thoughts were not correct - all the photos were found on listings that did not sell (expired listings).

I suspect the sellers of these homes have no idea that their homes were presented to public this way.

Wow, TWO rolls of poddy paper. I guess someone thinks that will be a major selling feature. Patty... what a silly collection. I also just love it when a Realtor takes a bathroom picture, and ends up being seen in the reflection of the mirror. Yikes.

Gayla - Exactly! Just say: "Excuse me, could you please step away for a second?" Does not seem hard to me...

Carolyn - Look at the third picture - I have one of those! The Realtor is taking a photo of the bathroom while wearing her pajamas and you can see it so clearly!

Valerie - I wish those were FSBOS! Those are fresh out of my MLS!!! The sanitary pads are the WORSE - Why even take that picture? It is not like that bathroom is gorgeous and MUST be shown....

Hi Patty - those are hilarious but unfortunately, not all that rare. I regularly go on MLS in my area to look at how houses are being presented and I am absolutely floored by the lack of care and attention paid to this crucial part of advertising a property. I often send e-mails or contact agents by phone to offer home staging consultations for some of the worst ones. However, it seems they rarely respond. I just wonder in this modern day and age when practically everyone looks on MLS in their search for a home that real estate agents and home sellers are unable to recognize the importance of that first impression. Great blog!

Karen - photos like these are too funny and too common.. I don't think I will ever understand why an agent would think those are acceptable?!

The National Association of Realtor says that 90 percent of buyers look for homes online.. I guess those agents are hoping to reach the other 10 percent...
