I saved the best for last: On the way to an evening conference in TENN and upon hearing his daughter-in-law, Jen who leads worship with his son say this after a tough day with the kids and air travel: "Time to take off the mommy hat and put on the worship hat." with a big sigh, Bill leaned in and said this, "Therein lies the problem, that worship hat should have never come off in the first place." Bill Johnson is the Senior Pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. He is a 5th generation preacher. He is one of the most influential teachers I've had the pleasure to know. His books and teachings have offended me, burned my heart, singed my lifestyle and really helped light me on fire to know God the father, the Son and The Holy Spirit more and more.
