I saved the best for last: On the way to an evening conference in TENN and upon hearing his daughter-in-law, Jen who leads worship with his son say this after a tough day with the kids and air travel: "Time to take off the mommy hat and put on the worship hat." with a big sigh, Bill leaned in and said this, "Therein lies the problem, that worship hat should have never come off in the first place." She is quoted as saying that totally changed her heart from that day forth. Bill has the ability to do that with just one sentence. I encourage everyone to either get some of his books or subscibe to their free podcasts or check out Bethel Church, Redding, CA online at http://www.ibethel.org/site/

Bill Johnson is the Senior Pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. He is a 5th generation preacher. He is one of the most influential teachers I've had the pleasure to know. His books and teachings have offended me, burned my heart, singed my lifestyle and really helped light me on fire to know God the father, the Son and The Holy Spirit more and more. I say this while sitting under Pastor Charles Stock who Bill just loves and adores... Charles is another unbelievably gifted teacher and it's hard to choose which one is better. I'm so Blessed to have been exposed to these awesome teachers of Christ.

MIKE: Those are good ones... of course they are all good. #21 is just the tip of the thought... any error is always on our part...  Thank you and Blessings.

GARY: How easy it is to lose our focus eh? Last night a really bad looking storm was coming right for us... the radar showed the worst of high winds, lightning and hail coming right at us. I rebuked the storm as Jesus taught us, I declared it would not touch us or our region, we would not lost power, etc. I then started back up to my office and without really thinking I grabbed for a flashlight in case the power went out (they flickered a few times) and then I heard that voice... "do you believe what you just prayed or not?" I couldn't believe what I was doing... I put the flashlight back in the drawer and went back to work... needless to say the storm subsided and we never lost power. I had my mind on the immediate a second after having my mind on the ultimate... duh!! Blessings.
