Today i got this call from this internet compnay who says that thaey will guarantee that I will be the number site on all of the search engines like google, msn, yahoo, aol. and a numbber of others. I was on the phone with them for over 20 minutes before they told me the price. They gave me the sale pitch that it would normally cost $3900.00 for 6 mos. but their special would only cost me $2750. I asked if they were for real. I havent made $2750 so far this year. I then asked if they were crazy. He said no thats the price. i told him goodbye.

Steven, I haven't had that character call me but I get about 2-3 of those types of calls a week. Never had

somebody ask that much though. It's usually $300-$600.

Hi Steven, Have had several calls like this latey but not at such an aggressive price. I ask them how they can gaurantee this to many, many agents? They usually mumble something about " smoke and mirrors".

Are they Net-something? I cannot remember the name. I told them to take me off the call list since they'd called me 6 times this month alone. They told me they didn't have a no call list. That they get my name off of ActiveRain and that I should take my phone number down if I didn't want them to call any more. I saved the phone number, they are out of Oregon. Next time I have an attorney right the letter!

A perfect example of why I use a voicemail number and not my direct number. Any calls I get with CA area codes that aren't specific about why they're calling, do not get a returned call.

Don't subscribe to that crap. I have never heard of one costing that much money, but I have them call me regularly. Usually about $300. I just hang up on them.

If you do the right things to your website, you do not need to pay these idiots thousands of dollars.

Steven - Get those calls all the time....nothing new. I would stay away from the sponsored ads...way too much money! You can get to the 1st page of google from being diligent here at AR and it won't cost you a dime.
