Our Little House Of Horrors - Some More 'Before' Photos

Our little house of horrors that I have been writing about is indeed worth seeing in the 'before' phase so you have an idea of what we are dealing with. If you can even imagine living in a home for 30 years and doing basically NOTHING to it the entire time!

Notice the mildew marking where the night stand had been. Water was leaking inside the bedroom, probably for years, and nothing was done to correct the situation! And, yes, the owners slept there every night!

When the previous owner moved out, this is how he left the place. The clothing was simply left behind! I cannot imagine leaving a mess like this for someone else!

There had been a leak recently in one of the three bathrooms and the cabinet was taken out and left in one of the bedrooms. Naturally we will have everything repaired and looking beautiful before the project is complete!

This is what was once a beautiful four bedroom home in a wonderful upscale community so we were all rather shocked to see the condition of the place!

This project will take a few months to complete but it will indeed be worth the time, money and energy involved as it will be restored to it's former beauty!

Even the garage is going to have to be cleaned out before the real work can even begin! I am planning on documenting the entire process and will publish updates here in ActiveRain on a regular basis!
