A Realtor's Thanksgiving Reflections

By
Real Estate Agent with Exit 1 Stop Realty

At the end of the Thanksgiving break, I realize I have many things for which I am truly thankful in my business life. I'm so grateful to all of my terrific Realtor friends who have offered support, advice, and friendship throughout the year. They have made my job much easier. I'm thankful for the many wonderful customers I've met, and the frienships that have developed. I'm also thankful to the not so wonderful customers, because they have helped me to learn the importance of patience and understanding. I've found that invaluable in the growth of my business. For brokers, bankers, inspectors, title companies, and all the others who are so vital to our transactions, I am truly indebted. I'm grateful for neighbors and family members who have rushed to my house to let the dog out on days I've been unexpectedly late. There are just so many things to appreciate and be thankful for. Perhaps we should think of every day as Thanksgiving.

Hi Margo~ I have found that there is always so much to be grateful for each and every day.  So I have to agree, Thanksgiving should be every single day!

During this time of giving thanks, I first want to say that I am thankful for my health.  2010 was the first time I have experienced serious health challenges and I am fortunate to have been surrounded by the right people. I am thankful for the readers of my mortgage newsletter, many of whom are friends and trusted advisers.  Their questions and feedback help keep the motivation behind the newsletter. In addition, many thanks to my colleagues who help make this stage of my career so fulfilling and motivate me to rise out of bed each day. I am thankful to be involved in an industry which allows me to bridge my knowledge and experience from the traditional financial services sector into the fast growing world of internet marketing and technology. I am thankful to be associated with impactful volunteer organizations such as Michelle's Angels. Most importantly, I am thankful for my wife and family who support me and through some divine intervention we are all spending more time together thanks to Florida being such an appealing destination.
