Trulia Offers Listing Report Tool

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Second Self Virtual Assistance

Trulia now offers a listing report tool that allows you to share how your client's listing is performing on Trulia from week to week.  By sharing these reports with your clients, you will be able to show them how many times their listing has been viewed from a search with their property's amenities and how many times people have clicked through to view more information on their home, a good indication of the amount of interest it is generating.

Trulia offers a listing report tool for real estate clients

Any Real Estate Professional can use their Trulia account to schedule to send a separate weekly listing report to each of your clients.  They are sent out every Tuesday morning.  The data on each report is collected from the previous week's activity.  Your real estate clients will get their own personal report that contains your photo and contact info as well as the amount of people viewing their particular listing on Trulia and its partner sites.  The schedule will continue as long as the listing is for sale on Trulia or until you stop scheduling it, whichever you prefer.  However, if you don't want to send them out weekly, you can opt to send out a single report whenever you want.

Trulia offers so many tools to help you with your real estate business, including widgets for listing slideshows, maps, calculators, statistics and charts as well as an RSS feed and browser plugin to search Trulia listings right from your browser's toolbar.  Trulia's listing reports are another way to show your real estate clients that you are doing everything you can to promote their home and get it sold for them.  Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think!

I love the Trulia reports for my listings. Sellers are impressed by the national exposure and frankly I am as well!

Pam...the Trulia report is a good tool...now only if they would stop trying to make me choose to purchase the Pro setting so I will somehow be higher on the Totem-Pole.  did that with another site; saw zero return on the $$$. Either we are wrong in all that we do or the gimmicks work for some, some of the time."Good items" for those who are not using Trulia.

I like to have monthly meetings with Sellers and review the stats from vendors like Realtor.com, RE/MAX, Trulia, Zillow, Website, and the list goes on. This really demonstrates the true showings number.

Despite the fact that Trulia & other websites have these tools I am always amazed at how few agents actually use them.  They are still locked in the old paper tools.  Newspaper, homes magazine, etc.  Then they wonder why the phone does not ring.

At least a few do and they will be the ones who survive to sell another day.

Another great tool. Trulia has really come along way in making it's voice be heard over the other real estate listing websites. You know the one I'm talkin about...wink!

Hi Barb - I am a big believer in using whatever free tools are available - provided they are useful and add value.  I only upgrade if I think it's going to be worth the membership cost over the free service.  Trulia is just another tool in your toolbox.

Hi Cheryl - As a seller, that extra piece of information is of great value.  I also like to know what people are saying about my house; what they like and what they don't.  I can't do anything about the size of my lot.  But, if I know that people aren't happy about something I can change, then I know what I need to do to make my home more desirable.

Hi Mary - Good point.  Last year, I started working with a "new" agent.  He had been a REALTOR(R) about 15 years ago in California.  Unfortunately, for both of us, he wanted to do things the way he had 15 years ago because he thought with all his being that since that worked well for him back then, it would still work now.  He wasn't interested in the online tools and updated strategies now available.  Needless to say, our business relationship faded quite quickly.  He just didn't have the funds nor an open mind to move forward.

Hi Laura - I DO know what you're "winking" about. :) Trulia is one of many online services that knows the value of continuing to progress.
