Consumers are asking questions now more than ever before. More than ever, consumers want to know exactly what services a you provide to earn their money/your commission. This simple concept is at the core of social media marketing.

Try not to take it personally, though it can be admittedly hard. Keep in mind that they simply don’t know. In fact many of your contemporaries can’t describe the breadth of what they do in specific terms. Then there are others who can present a 26-point marketing plan at the drop of a hat.

This video addresses what’s really driving consumers’ more-probing-than-ever questions, which is pretty much the same regardless of the product, service or cost. Most importantly for you, the professional, it addresses the most basic, effective and honest way to address these questions and put your prospect at ease.

After you watch this video, I challenge you to go to the friend/colleague whom you respect most who does the same work you do and ask them to write down bullet-points outlining the work they do for clients. You then do the same. When you’re done, exchange lists and see what each of you added that the other missed. You both will probably wind up with a fresh idea to make you better at what you do…and make a more indelible marq:)
