Wordless Wednesday: And We Went In Anyway!

By

While in Hawaii we took the kids to seeKalapana's Black Sand Beach on the Big Island.  I remember coming here all the time as a kid and never worried about anything except asking my mom, "Can we stay until the sun goes away?"

As we walked around we saw this sign of warnings and dangers of the water:

We hesitated for a moment and then went in the ocean anyway!

Gabrielle, Great looking black sand beach. They probably didn't want anyone swimming there. Hope you had a great day.

As long as one of you didn't end up on a "rescue" show on T.V.. I have never been to Hawaii.

But my daughter just spent six weeks there. Now she is in China for a month.

How scary is that? I am sure you still had a great time. Life is full of challenges and scary times. Just wish this challenges in life all came with warning signs!

Gabrielle...I'm thinking that I would have sat on the beach and watched others play. I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to the ocean even without warning signs!
