Aaahhhh, yes... we finally got our pool ready for summer and my 10 year old son has been enjoying it today! We've had to do some minor repairs on the tile work and replace the burned out lights. This required draining the pool and starting over this year. My husband finally finished getting all the work done, then we had to refill it. That process takes a couple of days, then it's on to balancing the chemicals. Today, it's finally ready to swim in and my son didn't waste any time. The pool is only about 72 degrees, which is 15 degrees to cold for me, but not too cold for my 10 year old. He's only gotten out of the pool long enough to eat this afternoon! I can hardly wait for the dog days of summer.....
Erika, I want to be your new best friend so that I can come over and swim this summer when it gets up to 110 here!
Kids will go swimming not matter what the temps...what a great picture...sort of starting off summer...almost.
Hi Erika...wow....72 degrees is a heat wave to me.....it was freezing here....and rainy....we still have the heat on....nice pool....Happy Easter to you and your family....
Virginia-Any time, just give me a jingle!
Jeffrey-Thanks for stopping by, yep, we're starting summer here in St George!
Barbara-Sitting by the pool right now, it's been a gorgeous day. Hope it warms up there for you soon! Happy Easter
His smile says it all, Erika! I think you are so lucky to live in a place where it's warm enough to go swimming already!! My kids would be in the pool, too...and not come out even when their lips are blue...except for a quick bite to eat!
Liz-Hope pool time gets there soon, we're sure enjoying it here!
Myrl-I love to swim too, but I don't swim laps unfortunately. Here's wishing you a quick summer and warm swimming weather!
Nina-My kids had the day off from school today, so some of the neighborhood kids got to join him. Once again, we couldn't drag them out of the pool. Hope they don't have sunburns;)
