Tall Tales from a Statue of St. Joseph (Humor)

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty - Atlantic Shore

You know the folk belief that if you bury a statue of St. Joseph on a  property, it will sell more St Joseph Kitquickly.

When my friend in Pennsylvania  was getting ready to move, I told her about it.

She bought a St. Joseph statue and buried him near her door. A few days later she got an offer.

So her neighbor asked how she sold her home so quickly, and my friend suggested her neighbor also try the St Joseph.

After a few months of burying the statue all over her lawn, my friend's neighbor had no nibbles on the home sale and in disgust put the statue out in her trash.

A week later my friend opened her local paper and read: "Town Sells Landfill to Private Developer."

It's Monday Have a Great Week!  Smile and share it!

LOL, taht would be my luck.  I had a client that negotiated with me to do this.  I told them I did.  The home sold to the 2nd couple that looked in two weeks.

St. Joseph...Never left my car.

Laura...that is too funny;  maybe she didn't bury Joseph upside down--then, maybe she did. We did this--though I really don't think that is a nice way to deal with the step-in Father of our Lord Jesus; however, we did this but no sales--many offers; have to talk to St. Joseph about these now-a-days buyers who want everything plus closing costs for Less than the selling price. LOL

Tomorrow, I am hoping to plant Spring-Summer flowers and I know that Sal buried Joseph somewhere out there. if I find him, I will place him in with the prettiest looking flowers.
Thanks for a great laugh.

Laura - I love this story!  I, too, have had clients bury St. Joseph, and the results have been similar - some sold, some did not!  Hey, I say try anything!

Laura ~ What a funny story.  I have a client that bought one resently and I asked her where she burried it. She said she didn't he is sitting in her yard.
