Blogging is an interesting phenomenon to me. It spotlights moments in time and creates a history marker for our lives, business and surroundings. It's about everyday people becoming extraordinary through words, thoughts and quirks. The amazing thing is how some posts are only momentous for the moment and others seem to hold truth for a long time. Take this, my first post ever.....fence post

It can almost seem hopeless to a buyer right now with financing going through so many changes and bumples. We can only take each day as it is and float through the bubbles! I am amazed everyday at the changes that I see and I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to help my buyers wade through the choices. I know that as a real estate agent I am amazed at the difficulty that I'm having personally in securing a home loan so I can appreciate the process that my buyer's are going through!

..... The reality and truth is that we are still going through the changes and bumples that our market is bringing us. Financing is still harder to find than it was and as Realtors and consuming we are still forced to wade through the changes.

In 2007 it was difficult for us to find a mortgage that would support us. The reality is that now it would be nigh impossible in our situation to obtain financing. I am grateful that we are already secure in a home and that we are able to make our payment each and every month. Currently finding ourselves greatly underwater like many others with no out continues to give me empathy for my clients - both buyers and sellers.

But, most of all... I know that as a Realtor I have the opportunity and the resources to help buyers and sellers through the bumples in the market. Continuously training and researching has given me the edge I need to confidently help those in need of Minnesota Real Estate Services. Taking each day as it is and learning as we go because nothing in Real Estate is stagnant... and the truth is... no matter when you choose to buy or sell a professional can really help you through the process.

Good morning Lindsey. Nothing is as powerful as experience for sure. It is a tough time though and I like your attitude. I would want to work with you.

Lindsey~What you describe is one the most difficult parts of my job right now. I know when I'm doing an appraisal for a refinance that people are most of the time trying to work through a tough situation, and I just hate being the bearer of bad news. No fun!

Have an AWESOME weekend!

Aw Shucks Carla! It's really true though... experience adds a lot to the mix.

Michael - I can only imagine. Being an appraiser can't be any more fun that sitting across the table from an over expectant seller. We have the 'hope fors' and you have the 'bottom line'.
