Javalinas are often spied in the Gold Canyon Arizona area. Usually they seem to travel about in groups. The groups usually appear to include a mom, dad, some children, often some younger and some older children. But on this particular morning there was only one large adult javalina to be seem as he foraged about for food.

I've never seen these animals before! That one looked pretty hungry and also shy.
