17 Comments on Dear Freddie Mac ...
I'm in the same holding pattern on a BoA foreclosure. I'm suspcious of the hold-up but am trying not to say what I'm really thinking.
Cindy - so I'm not the only one? Something is starting to smell really fishy.
You have a good point on the bluffs, err debates going on. They are waiting for the other shoe to drop. But in the meantime . . . yeah we are living in a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world!!
Cynthia, I used to know how to draw a MAD three fingered optical illusion. Just tried it now and don't have a clue. I think that's the problem a lot of agents who are working REOs have - they don't have a clue.
AARRGGHH! I may starve but I'm still working 'regular deals'. I cannot take the gov't way of doing real estate.
Carla - one thing I can count on with you is you know exactly the references I am talking about. You are the ONLY one who knew who Gladys Kravitz was in one of my posts!
John - three dimensional or just three fingered?
Charles - I don't have that option right now. The agents who didn't get in on selling distressed properties are out of business or nearly so.
What, there aren't two sides to these transactions? Hmmm, and here I thought the life of real estate was fair and unbiased.
Cynthia, I am on a waiting game with Freddic Mac foreclosure also..fortunately I know the listing agent is not the reason for the hold up..he has a team setup and our offer was submitted to the bank. Buers and everyone in line are waiting for that phone call..
I love your picture of Alfred E. Neuman, however I believe he was much smarter and more ethical than the mythical Freddie Mac.
Jane - there are rarely two sides to a transaction these days.
Ritu - I actually feel for the agents who have to be the go-between with some of these deals.
Paul - I grew up with Alfred, the "what-me worry?" has always been a part of my vocabulary.
I would assume at this point that another offer won the bid and that the listing agent just didn't tell any of the other agents waiting to hear.
Chris Ann - that is exactly what happened ... the status was updated to "Contingent" yesterday and I have not received an e-mail or phone call. What a way to do business!
Cynthia ... LOL... I just completed a conference call with major lender WHO KEEPS lying tells me XYZ ... then it never happens wants to do a function on ABC date but can't they keep lying ... go figure ...ugggg
Lynn - oh it is so much fun to "work" with all of this "information", isn't it?
Makes me loose my manners when they go and do something stupid like that. Just wanna call 'em up and tell em what for. I actually have a phone number of someone in Texas who works for Freddic Mac. Long story of how I got her number, but sometimes I call her just to mess with her.
Hahaha! If I didn't laugh I would cry. Freddie takes the LONGEST to make decisions. Or is it the agents they choose. Things that make you go HMMMMMMMMM
Tammy - call her for me, call her for me! Mess with her!
Renee - yep, kind of crying and laughing at the same time right now.
