This is My Reach Out to a Newer Member Outreach Program-or Something Like That.

So...I was doing a little Active Rain Reading yesterday...as I am constantly doing and came across this blog An activerain Success Story from a Black Sheep Member and I was instantly intrigued. Who could be the black sheep member and I clicked right on it.

Turns out, Rachel Rabinowitz is NOT a Black Sheep Member of Active Rain. What she is is a newer member here with a pretty cool niche as a Real Estate Auctioneer in Baltimore Maryland, that may be a little overwhelmed by the masses amounts of folks here in the Rain. Why do I say that? Because this little gem of a statement that was in her blog

"I like activerain, I'm a little afraid of the 100,000 + super members, most of the time I gravitate towards the member posts that are written by average bloggers like me."

I was taken aback...First, because I am over 100,000 points and may be considered a super member (ha!) by this wonderful person and secondly, I knew just how she felt. We have all been there in some way, shape or form just showing up here at this wonderful community called Active Rain. I just wanted to reach right out and let her know that hey, I'm an average blogger and please don't be intimidated by me or anyone else.

So I knew just what I had to do. I had to let all my wonderful Active Rain Support Group (you know who you are...and if you don't then I haven't hugged you lately, Lenn, Barbara, Charita, Bliz, Donne, Craig, Jerry, just to name a few and there are a ton more of you!) know about this terrific newer member to Active Rain and have them help me to give her a proper welcome to Active Rain. So, please go right on over to her blog and comment and hey...maybe suggest her Active Rain Success Story...It would be kind of cool to contribute to her first Feature dontchya think? I would sure love to hear more about her Auctioneering, wouldn't you?

Anyhoo...with the great support here at Active Rain, I think that I will try to do this on a continuous basis. I would have never made it as far as I did without someone reaching out to me when I first started.
