It was just over 100 years ago that North Plains became North Plains and since that day that rich history and community has always been present. This wonderful community isn’t large, but got its name from Lewis and Clark who called the area the North Tualatin Plains.
The community got a real boost because of the rich farm land and the railroad coming through in the early development of the community. The area around North Plains grew in to large communities, North Plains stayed small and today still has many farms that feed many of the farmer’s markets.
Though most of the Portland area doesn’t qualify for 100% financing, North Plains does thanks to programs like the USDA home loan. If you are interested in living in a great community with lots of history and a sense of community, give Todd Clark and the Friendly Home Team a call, we are here to help.
