Speechless Sunday - Timberline In Summer
I took the first photo of the top of Mt. Hood at Timberline Ski Resort a couple weeks ago, just before dusk. The second photo is the view from the Timberline Lodge. Oh, and here's the Timberline Lodge, too. You can see the haze from the Dollar Lake Fire, although just days later, the smoke worsened to the point you couldn't even see the mountain. The fire continues to burn and spread.

Mel & Gretchen, what amazing photos. Mount Shasta in Siskiyou County look much like this in lates Summer. This years, we still have some snow left as we near getting our first storms. Beautiful photos. Thank you for bringing them to us. Have a wonderful week!

I've always thought it funny that the trees know where the timberline is and that they shouldn't grow above it. Of course, there are always some trees that don't learn....... lol
