Ronald McDonald House raffled off tickets raising $300,000 and the new home valued at 800,000 went to a local Pacific beach resident for the tidy sum of $150.00.
The raffle House for a House was sponsored by McDonald's and Bosa Development, the builder of the 2 Bedroom 2 Bath condo at the Legend Condominium Development in Downtown San Diego. The legend is a high rise tower that overlooks Petco Ball Park, the new Ball Park Downtown San Diego that inspired development by the Center City Development.
The even better news is that 26 year old also has an option. He can take the home or $600,000 in cash. It wouldn't be a hard decision for me-I would take the ......, OK, I would have to think about this and way at the possibilities. Loving downtown and the new wonderful living environment, I would likely take the Condo.
it would be fun to have a home away from home and a place to escape on weekends when not showing property to my Buyers. Maybe I would even do a trade up to a larger place downtown and make it my primary residence. Then i could have my second in Hawaii.
Ronald McDonald House earmarked the raffle proceeds towards a 47 bedroom house that provides for families to stay in while their children are receiving treatments. The current home , a 12 bedroom residence is our near Children's Hospital in Kearny Mesa, a community in San Diego.
