I LOVE this story. Yes, sometimes we are already living our dream life. This reminds us to value the simple pleasures, and really think about what it is we truly want to attain in life. Bigger does not always mean better. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Deborah, terrific reminder that we only have so many opportunities to find the really important things in our lives !
Deborah,
That is a great story because really if I were rich that is what I would do retire and spend time with my husband who I rarely see!
This is a wonderful story, and one we should all take some time to consider.
We all need to keep our families fed and keep a roof over our heads, but after that, LIFE is what's important.
I'm suggesting and reblogging...
Thanks!
LOL it is so funny and yet so true. Life can be short sometimes - it would be appropriate to read and apply the message in the book "Eat Dessert First". Thanks for sharing.
What a great reminder to live life and enjoy life Now Today, not in some imaginary future.
I love Fred's comment above. I'll just add that we are not promised tomorrow... or even the next minute. ♥
The fisherman had his priorities right. So much value is placed on the wrong things today.
I hate it when you make me think Deborah. :)
Loved the post, I do need to be reminded about living in the now!
Deborah,
Thanks for sharing. Loved the story.
Sometimes the life we want, is really the life we already have.
Have a GREAT day!
Deborah,
I really like the story and got a nice laugh from it. We all need to take the time to enjoy the small things all around us that can bring us joy.
Thank you for all your hard work with the 30 day challenge. I was able to complete all 30 days and it feels very good.
have a great Sunday.
I am glad all of you liked the story...I responded individually on my IPad and it must have lost the post! uuggghh
We all have what we need...even if some times we think we need more!!!
Hi Deborah,
Love this story! You really have to wonder about the dream so many people are chasing. Is it really right before their eyes?
