I visit plenty of apartment communities that seem to be the same ol' thing. Occasionally, I get to see something that spruces up the view. Flowers, outside artwork, designer stones, are some common improvements to the entry door area.

The creativity during the holidays really brings out the resident's flare. Here is a Halloween pumpkin theme that I liked seeing in October.

Wow, Tom, those are really done well! Quite a lot of precise cutting to make them that nice! Thanx for sharing! I love that too when driving around and seeing great stuff like that!

Pumpkin carving certainly has become very popular. You'll see all kinds and sizes.

I bet they look even better at night when the candle is lit inside, didn't get a chance to see that though. Thanks Peg.

Some people take their pumpkin carving pretty seriously C&C. I just enjoy seeing the results.

Tom - I have a son that lives in an apartment.  His first floor unit has a really small patch of ground in front.  I need to take photos of it, because he planted it with all sorts of flowers in a multitude of colors, plus a pumpkin plant.  It makes the tiny plot look MUCH larger than it actually is.

I forgot to say, that the carvers of the pumpkins in your photo, show creative skills, I can only imagine having.  Really great stuff!

Pumpkins are popping up all around town here, too.  Fun to see what people come up with!

What a great idea Myrl, love to see pictures. The carvers were skillful, that is certainly true.

I'm not that good either Maggie, so I take photos of other peoples work!  :)

There are some pretty creative, and sometimes gross, pumpkins out there Janna.

It does look rather detailed and creative Michael. Wonder how long it took to do?
