Eco the Friendly Witch

By
Industry Observer with Nature As Neighbors

Eco the Friendly WitchEco-the friendly witch loves to travel on her broom - it’s fun, quiet and fuel free. When Eco has to use a more conventional form of transportation, she organizes all of her errands in one trip.

Eco-the friendly witch won't use frogs or bird beaks in her recipes for potions and brews. She knows the important role all creatures provide in the delicate balance of our ecosystems and honors their value.

Eco-the friendly witch heats up her big black cauldron with eco-briquettes or lump charcoal. It may not seem like much, but small steps (taken by many) can help with the much larger issue of air pollution.

Eco-the friendly witch
turns out lights in her vacant rooms and uses a programmable eco the friendly witchthermostat to help conserve energy and save money.  Of course she lives in a house. Where did you think witches lived?

Eco-the friendly witch diverts rain water to barrels and uses it to water her gardens and indoor plants. She never lets water needlessly run down the drain - the average witch American wastes up to 30 gallons of water a day.

Eco-the friendly witch is sensitive to stereo-types. She knows the misconceptions people have about witches. She also knows there are misconceptions about living green - it’s not difficult, weird or trendy.

Eco-the friendly witch shares her knowledge with other people. She wants them to discover the joy of living in harmony with nature. It’s pretty easy to do, plus it’s healthy and saves money.

Eco-the friendly witch knows some choices we make can have an unintended and long term negative impact on the planet. With each small, quiet and better choice, we can change the quality of our lives and the health of our planet.

eco the friendly wtich

Eco-the friendly witch
hopes you won’t be frightened if you spot her on her out and about on her broom this month - October’s a big deal in her world. Instead she hopes you’ll see her as representation of something quite positive and natural.

You're so cute, my green friend.  Good to see you back.  Did you see this that I posted on FB the other day?  Somehow it reminded me of this . . . :)

Women are ANGELS. When someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly ~ usually on a broomstick. We are flexible like that . . .

Debb - good to see you back - I'm so behind on commenting and have been so busy, but even though it's 1:25 a.m. I had to stop by and see you! As usuall, fun post and staged to perfection! I'm trying to be a good which and think more about being greener. I recylce everything - we have 4 differnt cans now, I don't buy bottled water -we use a filter and we use cloth bags when grocery shopping. Still more to do, but it's a start!

Hi Laura - you're sporting a pretty cool witchy woman look in your latest blog photo. Very fetching. Thank you for your kind words and congrats on your Video Talent Contest win.  You rock the "get over yourself" first video effort. :)

Gail - How kind of you -  I know that you work hard to promote environmentally sound principles and I so appreciate your efforts and hard work.

Cindy Lou - thanks, I'm thinking a doing some green books for my g-babies. This is one of the ideas I've been floating around.I'm also loving your Halloween look this month. Very cute profile photo.

Mimi - Hahaha. No, If I'd seen it I would have commented on your page.  How fun - i may have to share that with my estrogen network. :)

Mel - my good witch friend - I'd love to fly south on my broom to join you for a bit of "anything." Coffee, tea - wicked fun? Hope you're doing fantastic - I'm thinking about you and sending you magical thoughts.

Kristine - it sounds as if you're doing quite a bit to help the planet. Honestly, small consistent efforts can have a big impact. I know your love of nature and the outdoors - it shines through in all of your photos - that kind of respect creates a natural kind of "green" thinking. Sometimes, that's the best kind. Quiet and thoughtful.

Cathy - thanks sweetie and thanks for the reblog - very sweet of you. Love your latest pic so much - it's fun. Meow.

Valerie - it's that ole misconception about witches. They're not all weirdos.  Neither are green folks. :)

Mimi - it is a great quote - my estrogen network is my group of females (family and friends) that I interact with regularily. Gal pals...you are one of em!

Gary - don't make me hop on a broom and fly down there to show you one in person. :) (Actually, I don't think I'm much of a witch...:) :)

Michele, what a kind and generous comment. I really appreciate your encouragement. One never knows.

That is too cute, Debb.  Until Rebekah and another friend (Amy) and I got close last year, I really have never had an estrogen network outside of my immediate family :))) . . . that is until I joined AR this year.  And NOW LOOK AT WHAT WE HAVE!  Love the surge of estrogen that we have found here . . .
