I hate the fact that the hot days of summer are over. We're having a blast, but in the sunroom on our back porch, I have just done a great meal with my wife and her friends. Now...it's time for me to put my young dude, Grant down for the night! Sheer bliss. Love the tan and the color that the summer gives us all. I don't mind looking back when a good time was had by all.
"Happened so faaast!" Had to go there. But Oh, oh the summer nights!
Love and light,
Laura
In Arizona, the majority of us are thrilled to have those hot summer nights end! :-)
Larry--In keeping with the musical theme. "Summer-time, and the living is Eeeeee-zzzzzzz." Our family loves summer a lot, too, as we are big into swimming!! We love spring and fall as well...but winter...not so much. We just tolerate winter. :) Cute picture of you and your little man!
Larry, you could win Father of the day, everyday! Blessed is your family.
Looks like fun! I don't miss the days of summer in the North Texas area. We broke several records for days over 100 degrees. I would like a milder summer next year.
Summer of 2011 may be over, however, Summer 2012 is just 7 months away. YEA!!
Your wordless picture was worth 1,000 words! Makes us miss our little grand-kids. Soon we will be seeing those little beast and the house will be filled with laughter and Goodnight Moon stories.
Your son is all kinds of adorable. I remember when my son was that age. I think that was the most fun, when they're old enough to be mobil but not old enough for sass.
I LiKE Ted's attitude - just 7 more months and another one is here - Great pic to remind you of what's to come as you're shoveling in the next month or so !
Hi Larry,
Great picture; good time and good memories for you and your son.
Lisa
Aww...nice memory and photo...I too wish I had a bit of my summer tan these days....although most of my tan came from a tantowel!
What a GREAT picture! PURE HAPPINESS! I love summer! So sad to see it go...... but it gives me something to look forward to! :)
Larry -- great picture of the two of you. Obviously the person in the back of the picture is not having anywhere near as much fun.
Larry - I'm hating that the hot days of summer are over too! I'm an avid swimmer, who loves to swim mid-afternoon. But I hate doing so on cold winter days. However, when I look at that picture of you with your boy, I can feel the warmth and heat all the way to California. You have enough love in your home to keep you warm all winter!
I am so NOT ready for winter.. We already had a power outage for 5 days.. and it was not at all fun. I am thankful that it was only 43 degrees in our house...burrr....I'm ready to move to a state where the sun shines.
Larry you have so much fun with your children. I love the photos you share.
